The greatest inspiration for the musicians of Philadelphia are progressive rock concerts. A great influence on their music is also found in the progressive rock of the 70’s. Philadelphia, however, does not want to place it self in any category of musical genres. Philadelphia values musical freedom, experiments with and mixes various styles and moods, adds guitar riffs to the realm of keyboards. While in the studio, Philadelphia sometimes invites a violin quartet accompanied with a cello.

As Philadelphia Works on their music, the musicians experiment with sound using old analog synthesizers and sometimes the famed church organs. Philadelphia loves to test guitar effects produced by small unknown companies, many times getting hand made equipment and limited editions. For bigger concerts Philadelphia invites studio musicians, to better express the Feel of Philadelphia Music. Many a time additional instruments for concerts are keyboards, violin and sax. EP: Philadelphia “Invisible Man” In 2006 Philadelphia produced their demo album, soon after the studio EP followed. The title song is one of many Philadelphia’s hard rock compositions.

Philadelphia was joined by great graphic artists a few years ago. Those friends create beautiful graphical compositions for Philadelphia and concerts are a multimedia masterpiece Philadelphia concerts are a mix of progressive rock and hard rock leaving a lot of room for improvisations. There have been concerts where each composition was different each concert with long improvised closing solos. A common part of our concerts are drum solos like “when the sun sets in the suburbs.” You may listen to this composition on our Official Page: http://www.philadelphia.art.pl
